In the Yunyang District of Hubei, central China, a skull dating back one million years was discovered in 2022. Now, as scientists have reconstructed the skull, they believe it could be part of a species known as the “Dragon man.”
As The Daily Mail reported, the skull shows signs that the individual was part homo sapien and part homo longi, which was dubbed as “Dragon man.”
Daily Star notes that the skull is 9 inches long and over 6 inches wide, making it similar in size to the modern-day human cranium.
“The reconstructed Yunxian 2 suggest that it is an early member of the Asian ‘Dragon Man’ lineage,” study authors from the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory wrote.

The reconstruction of this skull comes after two other skulls of an unidentified human species was discovered in 1989 and 1990.
Because of the DNA mixture between homo sapien and homo longi, one could wonder if this species was part of the Nephilim. Previously, 10-foot-tall human remains were discovered in the state of Nevada, dating back about 3,000 years.
Nephilim expert L.A. Marzulli says that there are spiritual ties between the Middle East and the Nephilim. He says a spiritual stronghold from these “mighty men” is still in this area today.
While we don’t know whether or not this “Dragon Man” skull is one of the Nephilim or not, it is interesting to see how this skull could connect with future archaeological discoveries.
