To receive a financial blessing, we need to establish a plan that includes daily prayer. Our faith will expand when we pray over financial decisions. As we look to the word of God, we see powerful life-changing advice from Jesus. In Luke 16:10-12 (NLT), it reads this way. “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be dishonest with greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?” I can’t think of a better Scripture to base this article on financial gain through prayer and faith. Jesus covers it all.
My new podcast series titled Our Finances Need Prayer and Faith is based on over 120 Scriptures found in the Bible. We will cover every one of these Scriptures in approximately 25 podcasts. In these podcasts, you will discover a plethora of suggestions on how to experience financial blessings in your life. My podcasts will reveal the Lord’s direction in dealing with fear, worry, anxiety, greed, planning, saving, wisdom and giving. This list of topics will reveal how the Lord will bless your finances. We will take a tour through God’s word to better understand how the Lord blesses our finances through prayer and faith. You will learn the direction you must take in the area of making financial decisions.
Have you ever asked these questions? Does God hear my prayer, or does He really care about my financial needs? If you have, then be sure to listen to this series designed to help you get the attention of God in every area of our life. The Bible tells us that if we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. It is easy to understand one of the ways we draw near to God. It is simply bowing before him in prayer and believing in him through faith to meet our needs. I believe our God turns His head toward and listens to everyone who needs Him, whether it be financially or physically. God is a very present help in times of trouble. We know that prayer increases our faith. Therefore, I encourage everyone to spend some time every day drawing closer to God through prayer. When we do, our faith will increase. The blessings of the Lord will cover us.
This new podcast series will address the power found in the book of Proverbs. We will address dishonest and honest money. Have you ever thought about money being righteous in the eyes of God? What does the Bible say about riches in heaven and trusting in riches? Is there a time when money can be worthless? How does generosity work in our life? Do we ask what is in it for us? Is tithing a New or Old Testament command? What does it mean when the rich rules over the poor? Why is it wrong to co-sign a loan for someone else? Does the Lord require us to leave an inheritance for our family, and if He does, is He obligated to provide those funds? Is an inheritance only money? What is greed? How does God look at an unjust man or one who gives to the needs of others? You can tell, we are going to cover many areas.
I want to advise you to seek qualified professional help when making any financial investing. My comments will be based on biblical Scriptures.
