We’ve endured so much these past 12 months in pandemic—the entire world seemingly shut down, businesses, corporations, churches, travels, sports and more all came to a screeching halt! To add, lest we forget, the ongoing plight and perils of unemployment fears and financial despair, bringing much uncertainty, unknown and unresolve.
The problem is we’ve lost track of the importance of the Word of God—reading, studying and living it out.
Amos 8:11 reminds us, “The time is coming, says the Lord God, when I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord.”
It’s time to get back to the focus and discipline of putting the Word of God first and foremost above all.
