When Billy Graham came to London in 1966, the London press corps said Billy Graham’s message was “propaganda” and simply an emotional appeal. They pointed to his use of the hymn, “Just As I Am” as the proof that he was all gimmicks. So Graham told his music director, Cliff Barrows, to prepare not to do the song that evening, because they would see the Spirit of God move even without it.
