I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus —Philippians 1:3-6
The glory of God is not limited to a burning-bush encounter with God. It’s not, as some people mistakenly think, either the full glory or no glory at all. Being transformed from glory to glory is a promise made to every believer. We can experience an ever-increasing measure of that glory in the small, subtle dimensions that often go unnoticed. Never underestimate the grace of God or despise the day of small beginnings. We should not say, “I’ll never be different. I will always be in bondage to lust, anger, and covetousness. I’ll never be free.” The glory of God is already at work in your life. Thank Him for the sincere desire you have to break free from sinful habits and walk in the Spirit. Those small beginnings are firm steps in the direction of full maturity.

Holy Spirit, help me to see each tiny step I take as I grow more and more like Christ. Teach me to recognize that each small step moves me closer and closer to Your image that I may be spiritually mature.
Have confidence that even now “He who began a
good work in you will perfect it.”
